Shred Bin Etiquette

Welcome to the Crown Family!

Now that you have received or are about to receive your shred bin there are a few things that everyone needs to know. 

Certain items cannot go into the shred bins. These items are hazardous to the safety of our people, and some items can cause fires resulting in thousands of dollars in property loss. We ask that you please educate your staff, including your janitorial staff, on what may and may not go into the shredding bin.

  • Batteries

  • Plastics 

  • Metal Objects

  • Magazines

  • Newspaper

  • Cardboard

  • Trash

  • Food Items
